what up son, glad you came by!
check it out, the ninja way is a literate but relaxed roleplaying forum, we're here for fun so there's no competition, no strict rules and no admins screamin at you because you haven't posted in a week. but you may be asking, oh mighty rules creator, what do you mean by literate but relaxed ? well first off please don't interrupt me because it's rude and now i've lost my train of thought.
but to actually answer your question, when roleplaying our main focus is fun. we do like skill, technique and quality, but mostly prefer fun-lovin narutards that have fun at what they do and are looking to roleplay until their little fluttering heart stops ( please don't you haven't even signed a consent form yet ) . why are we "relaxed"? we hate rules, so we don't have many. there's no obligations, no forms.
ok i lied there's a form.
but it's only so we can get to know your character better ( if it's an OC )
now peel yourself off of the floor and wipe up your tears of blood and agony because there's only a few questions.
AND ONTO THE RULES:
rule #1 Please be respectful of others individual style/writing/characters
rule #2 No godmodding ( ~* obvi *~ )
rule #3 Don't do anything a $$ Cool Girl $$ wouldn't do
rule #4 You don't have to write a novel, seriously this is only for fun. But please try to at least give the person you're playing with enough content to be able to have a response. No one liners, no two liners. let's shoot for at least 3 or 4 QUALITY paragraphs? let me know what you guys think about this.
rule #5 No powerplaying
rule #6 Canons who are taking place in the chunin exams have to be the proper age, this means you can take characters from the later seasons and add them in, but please age bend them! and obviously they aren't going to be as experienced as they are later on, so take that into account as well! if there's someone you are really dead set on using, let one of the admins know and we will figure something out. we want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves here.
rule #7 first or third person is cool. no second person that's just odd. i have a feeling most people will be using third anyways though. but just sticking this here for any of you first person butterflies!
rule #15 There is no need for fighting. Seriously what is the deal. I'm so against drama it's unbelievable I'll banhammer you into the 1950's if I see you stirring up drama with other members.
rule #48 If someone is uncomfortable with a certain level of violence, romance or profanity, please respect it. I don't want to put restrictions on you guys for the entire forum, so if you and a roleplay partner are comfortable, that's fine. please post a trigger warning in the title of your thread, either labeling it violent or sexual, that way people who don't want to be caught off-guard reading it can avoid it all together. For group threads, let's keep it pretty mild! violence is cool, but obviously we don't need to read 3 paragraphs of a gory distasteful scene, keep it in moderation, thanks!
rule #354 If a canon is taken, they're taken. :( If you notice the member hasn't been active in a ridiculous amount of time, let one of the admins know and we'll try to get in contact with the player, if they don't respond after a certain amount of time, we'll make the executive decision for you to be able to take over the character.
Alright I think that's it for now. I'll definitely think of some things later to add to this, for now if you have more rules let me know and I'll probably answer and then throw the answer up here!
