Yamakaze, Kaku

(he's not as grumpy and menacing looking as this! i promise!)

Appearance; kinda tall and lanky. stands at 5'11". wears a leather breastplate beneath a black zipup jacket. on his head is a black cap, which mostly conceals a head of fluffy strawberry blond hair. he's also got a nice pair of black trousers. they have bags and pouches which contain tools. your standard smoke bombs, shuriken, and kunai. for a more casual affair, he wears an open black and white tangzhuang, exposing his flesh made tough by the scorching sun, as well as the whipping sands. and then there are some loose fitting tan breeches he likes, which in turn are held up by a red sash.

Personality; outside of a battle, kaku is somewhat awkward. not very talkative. he prefers to chew the fat during a fight. contrary to his taciturn disposition, he is also a bit of a trashtalker. 'cause it's all about the thrill. likes to take "souvenirs" from defeated foes. does not take kindly to his nose being made fun of. also likes to give people nicknames.

History; kaku was born and raised in sunagakure. his father was a decent provider. his mother was consistently drunk. kaku held no love for her, leaving him to be raised by his dear old dad. he taught him most of the tricks of the trade. the trade being murder! 'cause he was an ANBU assassin. who later found himself enveloped in the sands of the shukaku's jinchuriki, on orders from the fourth kazekage, of course. by that time, he  was about.. five? six? so, his dad was murdered. and combined with an abusive, alcoholic mother, kaku became somewhat withdrawn. he did his best to stay outdoors, to avoid his mother. he was also quite a pugnacious child. he had to train all he could. he wanted revenge, after all. revenge for his fallen father. and so he took up his swords.

Weapons; two shirasaya katana, decorated to resemble a girrafe's pelt. kinda hard to tell due to the weathering caused by sand. wields them in a reverse grip.

Any special abilities or preferred jutsu's etc

excels in taijutsu and kenjutsu. alright at  ninjitsu, but,  not genjutsu. utilizes a sword-style he calls "yontoryu" (four swords style). while able to punch and kick the shit outta people, kaku's managed to take it to another level. like. you don't even know. WIND NATURE, MOTHERFUCKER. he calls it the tempest kick (rankyaku for you weebs). fuckin' wind blades up, down, and side to side! he just wishes that he could..launch 'em. but a kick and a blade of wind slicing someone is good enough. for now. also can just use plain ol' one and two sword techniques. and body flicker. one of his all time favorites. gotta go fast, right? when unarmed, he likes to compress wind chakras into his hands, to produce the deadliest of pokes, which he calls his finger pistols. (shigan!) and his greatest technique! the six king finger pistol! (rokuogon!) he holds his fists out, one over the other, curved inward, and lets loose a burst of wind. of course kaku's not PERFECT with it, but, y'know.
